Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush.

The 25-year-old Egyptian striker has done quite well since moving to the German club and he has 15 goals across all competitions this season. He has picked up six assists along the way as well.

According to SportBILD (h/t SportWitness), the striker is valued at €30 million and Spurs will face competition from Newcastle United.

It is no secret that Tottenham need a reliable goal scorer at their disposal and the 25-year-old could prove to be a useful addition. Marmoush could be tempted to move to the Premier League if there is a concrete offer on the table and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to pay the reported €30 million asking price and Marmoush could prove to be a quality investment. The 25-year-old has the physicality to thrive in the Premier League and he could help Tottenham going forward.

The North London outfit are currently lacking a recognised goal scorer and Marmoush could fill that void.

Spurs are currently pushing for Champions League qualification and they are well placed to finish in the top four. If they manage to secure Champions League qualification for the next season, they will need a better squad to do well in the Premier League and the Champions league next year. Signing a quality attacker will be one of their top priorities.

Meanwhile, Newcastle will have the financial muscle to sign the player as well but they are unlikely to secure Champions League qualification for the next season and therefore the 25-year-old striker could be more attracted to the idea of joining Tottenham instead.
