Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the Ghana attacker Mohammed Kudus at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has been outstanding for Ajax this season and he managed to make his mark for his country in the World Cup as well. He has 12 goals and two assists to his name across all competitions for club and country so far this season.

According to a report from Calciomercato, the forward could cost around €40 million and Spurs are hoping to sign him in a bid to persuade Antonio Conte to sign a new contract with them.

The Italian is an ambitious manager who will look to win the major trophies at Tottenham and he needs to sign better players in order to do that.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs can sign the player from Ajax and convince Conte that he can win the major trophies at the London club.

The Ajax star can operate as a centre forward as well as an attacking midfielder, and his versatility will be an added bonus for Antonio Conte and Spurs.

Spurs already have an impressive attacking unit at their disposal, and it will be interesting to see how they accommodate Kudus in their starting lineup. The 22-year-old is likely to demand regular first team football if he moves to the London club.

Spurs could use his creativity and flair in the final third. They have been linked with a number of attacking midfielders in recent months and Conte needs to add a bit of craft to his midfield.

While Kudus can play as an attacking midfielder, he is more comfortable as the central striker or a false nine.
