Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the move for the Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has been a key player for the Eagles and his performances have attracted the attention of the North London club.

According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace are unwilling to let him leave and they would only consider a sale if a substantial amount of money is offered. The report states that they would consider offers of over £60 million for Eze. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay that kind of money for him. They could certainly use more creativity and attacking quality in the final third.

Eze has nine goals and five assists to his name across all competitions and he could prove to be a superb acquisition for the North London club. However, it seems unlikely that Tottenham will agree to pay a premium for a playmaker this summer.

They will need to strengthen the other areas of their squad and they already have James Maddison operating in a similar role. Crystal Palace will have to be more reasonable with their demands in order for the move to go through.

Tottenham will be hoping to push for trophies next season and they need to plug multiple gaps in their squad. They will need to sign another central defender, a central midfielder, a striker and another goalscoring winger.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Palace attacker is 25 and he will look to compete at the highest level. He will probably hope to join a club club capable of winning trophies and it remains to be seen whether he can secure a move away from Selhurst Park this summer.
