Trabzonspor are pushing to sign forward Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer this summer after he leaves Inter Milan.

Turkish outlet Fotspor, via FCInter1908, report that the Turkish side are currently in talks with Sanchez’s agent to try and set up a move.

At the moment, Sanchez’s future does not look to be at Inter.

The Chilean’s current contract with the Nerazzurri runs until the end of June. He had signed a one-year deal to join on a free transfer last summer after he departed from Marseille.

It is not entirely certain that Sanchez will leave via the same route he came – a free transfer.

But that does look to be more and more probable. The Nerazzurri are planning something of an attacking rebuild during the summer transfer window, and there would be little place for Sanchez.

Therefore, in all likelihood, Inter will not be offering the former Arsenal, Manchester United, and Barcelona veteran a new contract.

The question, then, would be where Sanchez will go next.

Trabzonspor Pushing To Sign Alexis Sanchez From Inter

According to Fotspor, Turkish side Trabzonspor are very keen on signing Sanchez.

They see the 35-year-old’s vast experience in the top level and undeniable technical quality as perfect quality to make him a leader within their squad next season.

At the moment, Trabzonspor – winners of the Turkish Super Lig title in the 2021-22 season – sit third in the table. Albeit far adrift of runaway league leaders Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.

The side from the Turkish city of Trabzon have already made contact with Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich.

Now, it is in the hands of the player himself.

Sanchez will be free to decide on his future at the end of the season.

And Trabzonspor are very much hoping to convince the current Inter forward of their project.
