From the trophy presentation to a private club party, Inter Milan’s Serie A title celebrations are set to continue this week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

This season, Inter clinched the Serie A title with several matches to spare.

That means that the Nerazzurri confirmed their status as champions a month before the end of the campaign.

Therefore, the atmosphere has been a bit different than in seasons where the title race goes down to the last day – such as in the 2021-22 campaign, when AC Milan pipped Inter.

This season has been much more similar to Napoli’s triumph last season. It had always looked a matter of “when” rather than “if.”

And when that “when” came – in the derby against AC Milan, an historic first, the celebrations began to unfold.

Trophy Presentation, Concert, Club Party – Inter Serie A Title Pary Continues

Inter had already celebrated in the stadium after clinching the title in the derby.

Then, the players went to the Piazza Duomo to begin celebrating with their fans.

A much bigger title party continued the weekend after the derby. That saw Inter take on Torino in Serie A, at the San Siro.

Following that match, the Nerazzurri held their title parade.

The team’s open-top bus travelled from the stadium to the Duomo, with Inter’s players having the chance to really enjoy the celebrations with the fans.

Reportedly, there were over 300,000 fans in attendance throughout the parade.

Next Sunday, being Inter’s final home match of the season, the trophy presentation will follow.

After the final whistle of the team’s Serie A clash with Lazio, there will be the official trophy presentation. Lautaro Martinez will lift the trophy as captain for the first time.

Then there will be a concert at the San Siro featuring Italian pop star Ligabue.

And then the following Monday, Inter’s squad and staff will hold a private celebration at the Castello Sforzesco, enjoying their triumph among themselves rather than with the fans;.
