Cristiano Ronaldo was at his absolute best against Abha on Tuesday night as Al-Nassr demolished their opponents by eight goals to none! In a complete display of dominance, the Portuguese superstar took centre stage as he bagged yet another hat-trick! The No.7 was on the back of an impressive hat-trick against Al-Tai as his side ran riot of their opponents to go within twelve points of Al-Hilal.

Six goals in two games is no easy feat. Cristiano Ronaldo pulled off the inconceivable as he dropped banger after banger as the opposition goalkeeper picked the ball out of his net like clockwork. Two bullet free-kicks and another exquisite chipped shot saw Ronaldo go seven goals clear of Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has 22 goals in the Saudi Pro League.

Fans are in disbelief as the superstar, who has been criticized heavily for failing to convert free-kicks, scored not one, but two in the same game. His first goal came from a spot kick, where he cheekily went under the wall, and beyond the grasp of Abha keeper Ciprian Tatarusanu.

His second free-kick was stunning, as he curled his shot past the wall and into the net. The third was the most surprising, as he chipped the keeper on the run, not even breaking his stride in the process.

Ronaldo sends out confident message as Al-Nassr put eight past Abha

The Saudi Pro League was witness to a thrashing of extreme proportions as Abha held 8 at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium. Goals every ten minutes or so meant that the Abha keeper was a busy man, picking up the ball eight times from his own net! Cristiano Ronaldo breathed confidence into his side as he bagged an impressive hat-trick for the second consecutive game.

Following the game, the player took to Instagram, to post pictures from the win. The caption sent out a message to the footballing community, as he claimed that he has no plans of slowing down. At the age of 39, the No.7 is still comfortably one of the best in the game.

After finishing 2023 as the global top-scorer, it won’t be any surprise if he repeats the same this year too! Despite Al-Nassr‘s stunning form, having lost just a single SPL game in their last ten matches, they sit twelve points below Al-Hilal. The league leaders are on a ten-game winning streak and all points to the possibility that Al-Nassr will once again come up short to them in the League.
