Some of the criticisms of Paris Saint-Germain under manager Mauricio Pochettino is the playing style or lack thereof despite the capital club winning matches.

Nevertheless, Les Parisiens have come away with points that have them atop the Ligue 1 standings and second in their UEFA Champions League group stage.

At his press conference with the media, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino discussed the style of play that he sees from his squad as he hopes to improve as the season goes along.

“I think we see some signs of our playing identity in the team. We can talk about philosophy, style, identity,” Pochettino said.

“The team has an identity. A club like PSG, with its ideas and its squad, will look for a coach because they hope they can pass things on. We are satisfied; we are seeing progress in different areas of the team. The identity of the team can be seen; we hope it will be seen even more.”
