Tottenham January signing Radu Drăgușin has not had ample game time at the club so far.

Ange Postecoglou was keen on defensive reinforcements during the winter transfer window. The North London club wanted to ensure the manager had enough depth at the back and they secured the services of Radu Dragusin.

Spurs managed to beat the competition for his signature and acquired the 22-year-old centre-back’s services from Genoa. But, since making the move to Tottenham, Dragusin has had limited game time.

His agent Florin Manea was asked about his client’s potential return to Italy and his reply has cast doubt over the defender’s long-term future at the club.

Manea said via CalcioNapoli24: “If he doesn’t play we’ll have to think of other solutions, but at the moment I don’t think so because he only arrived in January. Then you never know in life, let’s hope not, but you never know.”

Dargusin has been involved in just six matches since making the move, he has racked up just over 200 minutes of first-team football. While the Romanian international has huge potential, not playing regularly could have a massive impact on his career.

The player’s agent feels if the situation doesn’t improve next season and Dragusin is not given an important role at the club, he will have to look for opportunities elsewhere for his client. While Manea is confident that the 22-year-old will work his way into Postecoglou’s plans, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of pushing for a move away from the club if the former Genoa star doesn’t get enough game time.
