Speaking to Lazio Style Channel (via LazioNews24), Zaccagni first reacted to Lazio’s impressive win over Spezia.

We got off to a great start and that was what the coach had asked of us. We played a great match. We gave everything, also thanks to the two-week break.

This nastiness and intensity is something we need in every match. Now we need to find consistency.

He touched on if he scores more at the Stadio Olimpico than when playing away, highlighting the impact of the fans.

When you play in front of your home crowd, the affection of the fans matters. The fans accompany us every game and they were fantastic.

He looked ahead to the upcoming Europa League clash with Sturm Graz.

We have an important game coming up on Thursday. We must redeem ourselves after what happened in the previous match and we’ll go to Austria to win.

Finally, Zaccagni discussed his role in Sarri’s Lazio squad.

I really like this position, because very often I find myself in midfield. I also find myself playing between the lines and I’m improving in depth. I can definitely still grow.

In training we very often try out certain movements, including cutting in at the first post and going wide for Immobile, like the move that led to the first goal.

The 27-year-old Zaccagni has made nine appearances across all competitions this season for Lazio, scoring two goals and providing two assists in that time.
