Experts: Novak Djokovic's French Open racket given to young fan could fetch tens of thousands of dollars

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic rallied back during Sunday's French Open final to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7 (6), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4, grabbing his 19th Grand Slam title

The 34-year-old was undoubtedly excited but probably not as happy as the young fan who received his match-used racket. After winning his second title at Roland Garros, Djokovic handed a young boy in the first row his racket. The boy grabbed the racket with both hands and jumped up and down in excitement.

Sports memorabilia experts told Yahoo Sports that the racket could fetch tens of thousands of dollars if the boy put it up for auction. According to Ken Goldin, founder of Goldin Auctions, the racket could fetch between $25,000 and $35,000.

If Djokovic wins another major title, tying Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for most all-time by a male player, Goldin Auctions says the racket could be worth $50,000.

If the reigning Australian and French Open winner takes home titles at this year's Wimbledon and U.S. Open to complete a 2021 Grand Slam, which hasn't been done since 1969, the racket could be worth between $75,000-$100,000.

Based on the boy's reaction, though, it doesn't seem like he'll be willing to part ways with the historic racket.
