Rafael Nadal is all set to return in January. After missing almost a year due to injury, the Spaniard will return to the court at Brisbane International. Various tennis players and organizations have expressed their opinions regarding the veteran’s comeback. However, his clothing sponsor Nike has released a very special video for the Spaniard’s return.

In the video released by Nike on their social media handles, Rafa’s logo, which is the raging bull, is shown in the buildings just like of Batman’s logo in the movies. This creative idea by Nike has won the hearts of the fans and they have applauded the renowned brand for this tribute. Nike has been the long-term clothing sponsor of Rafa. Nike pays Nadal more than $10 million per year for this sponsorship.

The symbol of the raging bull shown in the video is also trademarked by Nike. Though the symbol is mostly associated with Rafa, the symbol is a property of Nike. The symbol mostly appears in the clothing that is specially made for the Spanish ace.

What’s in the cards for Rafael Nadal’s comeback?

Nadal’s comeback to the sport will make the 2024 tournaments much more open. However, it won’t be easy for Nadal to directly get into the groove. Especially after being out for such a long period. It is quite sure that he will be a bit streaky in the first few matches. However, with the skillset and experience he has, one can only rule him at their own risk.

The 2024 season is said to be his probable last professional tennis season. Thus, he will try to go all out during this season, starting from the Australian Open.

However, it will be an uphill task, especially with his career rival and defending champion Novak Djokovic around. But the Brisbane International before the Grand Slam will help the Spaniard get into the groove with match experience and momentum. With his match set on Tuesday, all eyes would be upon him to see how the Spaniard performs down under.
