Microsoft has been doing a lot of collaborations with different brands to release limited edition Xbox Series X consoles over the past couple of months. For the most part, though, these cool pieces of hardware have only been available for the lucky winners of giveaways and draws – such as last year’s Porsche-inspired Xbox Series X. In that sense, Microsoft’s latest hardware collaboration is markedly different, as fans will actually be able to purchase the product.

Which product, you may ask? Well, you’ve read the headline: a SpongeBob SquarePants Xbox. Yeah. The Xbox Series X – Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Special Edition Bundle, as it’s officially known, contains not only the console depicting the man who lives in a pineapple under the sea, but also a Xbox Wireless Controller featuring various notable characters from the cartoon. As its name suggests, the bundle comes with a digital download code for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

Intrigued? Then let’s cut to the chase: Here’s how you can get the limited edition SpongeBob SquarePants Xbox Series X.

How to get the SpongeBob SquarePants Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X – Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Special Edition Bundle will be available as a Best Buy Drops exclusive, which means that you’ll need to get the Best Buy Mobile App to buy the console. Please note that this offer is only available in the United States of America and will cost you $699 USD.

You can set up a notification on the mobile app to let you know when the sale goes live, but we have the start time below for you as well:

  • March 7, 2024, 8am PT
  • March 7, 2024, 10am CT
  • March 7, 2024, 11am ET

Since this is a limited edition, the offer will only last as long as supplies do – there’s no word on how many of these bundles are available, so the best policy is to be well prepared and quick.
