Caitlin Clark is heading into her second WNBA season with big expectations—not just for herself, but for the league as a whole.

Speaking at a Goldman Sachs event this week hosted by COO John E. Waldron, the Indiana Fever guard reflected on the massive growth in attention women’s basketball has seen recently and made a confident prediction about what’s coming next.

“We’ve played a few games in NBA arenas and have sold them out,” Clark said. “I think you’ll see more of that this season. Players dream about those moments, and we need to build on this momentum.”

It’s not just talk. Last season, Clark’s arrival in the league created a wave of sold-out crowds, top jersey sales, and record-breaking viewership.

The Fever played in front of packed arenas on the road almost every night—and that demand is only growing.

As the WNBA enters a new season with rising stars and a fresh spotlight, Clark is leaning into the pressure and the platform. She’s not just embracing it—she’s expecting more.

Her team is also looking to take the next step. With a year of pro experience under her belt, Clark is focused on both winning games and helping push the league forward.

The message for Clark is clear. Big arenas, bigger crowds, and an even brighter spotlight. She fully believes it's coming, and if last year was any indication, she might be right.

The 2025 season is about to tip off—and Caitlin Clark is already calling her shot for more success.
