Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita, marking Ospreay’s official AEW in-ring debut as full-time AEW talent, took place at the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.

It was all Ospreay in the early going including hitting an outside dive. Takeshita tossed him to the floor and hit an outside dive. Back in the ring, Takeshita hit a german suplex for 2. Ospreay fired back with a spanish fly before landing a forearm shot then kicks in the corner. They exchanged some hard-landing forearm shots. They reversed powerbombs before Ospreay hit a series of kicks then a tiger driver for 2. Ospreay with a spring board cutter for a near fall. Takeshita with a series of drivers, but Will fired back with a lariat for 1 as the crowd popped. Takeshita with a major league clothesline to turn him inside out before Will hit the styles clash for 2. Will with the hidden blade for the win.
