Chris Jericho compliments Konosuke Takeshita.

At DDT Ultimate Party 2023 on November 12, Chris Jericho defeated Konosuke Takeshita in the former AEW World Champion’s first match in Japan since 2020.

Speaking after the match, Jericho spoke highly of Takeshita and stated that he would wrestle him 100 days in a row if he could.

“I just think he’s getting more and more confidence because he knows who he is as a wrestler now, and that’s very important for any young wrestler to understand who you are as an athlete, as a showman, as an entertainer. That’s how you become a main-event, money-drawing wrestler. Now, he knows who he is, he understands when to make big moves. I think the sky’s the limit for him, and I would wrestle him 100 times in a row if I had the opportunity.”
