Drew McIntyre was apparently not impressed by Damian Priest‘s victory at WWE Backlash.

At WWE Backlash, Damian Priest defeated Jey Uso to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, thanks to some help from his Judgment Day stablemates.

After the match, WWE promoted Priest’s win in a post on Twitter. Drew McIntyre responded by saying, “BS Champ, BS Number One Contender, BS Tactics, BS Finish, BS Theatrics.”

Drew McIntyre has had his sights set on Damian Priest since WrestleMania 40. There, McIntyre beat Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship. But after CM Punk attacked him, Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. Priest then pinned McIntyre to win the gold. McIntyre then lost the Number One Contender’s match in which Jey Uso earned his title shot, as CM Punk cost him the bout.

McIntyre previously targeted Priest in a post on social media and said that it was time for “tape study.” Check out his comments here.

As announced at WWE Backlash, Drew McIntyre will face Finn Balor in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. More information is available here.
