Jake Something is now a free agent after the 32-year-old posted to Twitter Monday that he is no longer with Impact Wrestling.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Something's contract expired at the end of February but he stayed to work Sacrifice this past Saturday. Things are said to have ended amicably between the two sides and he would be welcome to return in the future.

Something first started appearing for Impact in 2017 and became a regular as part of The Deaners beginning in March 2018. He began wrestling as a singles competitor for the promotion in 2020 after his storyline cousin, Cody Deaner, joined Violent By Design.

Something challenged X-Division Champion Trey Miguel for the title Saturday as Miguel picked up the victory with a pair of meteoras after having been dominated for much of the match by his much larger opponent.

Something was trained in the ROH Dojo and made his pro debut in early 2010.
