There was a point in time in NXT when only one faction was dominating the entire Black and Gold Brand. It was none other than the Undisputed Era. It was a group led by Adam Cole. Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly were the two dominating the tag team division. The trio became even stronger once Rodrick Strong joined them.

Fans might consider it a loss for WWE that none of them are part of the Stamford-based promotion anymore. But three of the four are currently signed with AEW. They are Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Rodrick Strong. Two of the three are sadly sidelined with injuries. They are Cole and O’Reilly. Strong on the other hand, is injured as part of a storyline.

The Panama City Playboy recently had surgery on his leg and might be out for over five months. O’Reilly on the other hand, suffered a neck injury early last year and has been sidelined ever since.

While it might take a long time for Adam Cole to return from injury, it looks like his friend, The Violent Artist might be returning to action very soon. Kyle O’Reilly posted a story on his Instagram sharing a post about the upcoming AEW Canadian tour. The tour is supposed to be happening in 2024. The former NXT Tag Team Champion also commented that he most likely will be returning to in-ring action by that time.

Kyle O’Reilly can’t wait to wrestle Adam Cole again

A few weeks ago, Adam Cole took to Twitter to share that some of his best matches in Ring of Honor were against his friend the Violent Artist.

“The toughest matches of my career have been against @KORcombat Would not be the wrestler, or the person, without him. Thanks for making me better. There is no Adam Cole without Kyle O’Reilly. Period,” Adam Cole tweeted.

Kyle O’Reilly replied to the tweet claiming that he is looking forward to wrestling the former NXT World Champion and his former faction member.

“It’s been an honor to make magic with you. Can’t wait to do it again someday sooner than later @AdamColePro Thanks for being my friend.. and greatest opponent,” Kyle O’Reilly tweeted.

Are you looking forward to seeing the return of The Violent Artist?
