Although retired from pro wrestling, Nikki Bella has shown interesting in joining AEW, but will Tony Khan hire another former WWE employee?

We learned Nikki Bella is once again debating ending her retirement. She would return to wrestling, but not for the WWE. Instead, she has interest in working with Tony Khan and AEW. Apparently, she had the itch to return about a year ago, but she halted those plans to care for her son. Basically, she was seeking to work about once a week for a year, which fits nicely into AEW’s schedule. With Mercedes Moné now officially part of AEW, and with her recent promo, Nikki is still open to joining.

On the Tim Battle and Eli on the Battleground Podcast, Tony Khan showed lots of interest in brining one-half of the Bella Twins over. “If Nikki Garcia ever wanted to come in to AEW, I would be very interested in that,” said Khan. “I think the world of her. I have so much respect for Nicole and Brie.”

Already Has AEW Connections

They’re like family to us because Bryan Danielson is like a part of my family, and that means Brie and Nicole part of the family,” continued Khan. “So, I have so much respect for both of them, and if Nikki was interested in coming to AEW, we would love to have her here at any time. That was so great to hear. It means the world, and I just like both of them so much. I think they’re really, really cool, and really, really great stars that would add a lot to AEW if they ever wanted to come.”

The Bella Twins started their wrestling career in WWE and eventually transitioned into lots of TV shows. They have made a few appearances for WWE in recent years, but their time could be over. Neither twin might want anything to do with WWE at the moment because of John Laurinaitis. He is their step-father, although he is blacklisted in wrestling. Laurinaitis, and Vince McMahon, have been accused of crimes such as sexual harassment and sexual trafficking. Both need to lawyer up as they could face serious penalties. So, will Tony Khan decide to bring another former WWE superstar to AEW in the form of Nikki Bella.
