Shelton Benjamin has reportedly been in contact with AEW, and they have discussed him potentially making appearances.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Shelton Benjamin and All Elite Wrestling have recently had conversations, and they have discussed him possibly appearing for the company. Per Sapp, there is no word on whether he would be signing a contract or if he would be on a full-time deal. Likewise, it is unclear whether anything has been finalized. However, Sapp writes that they have been in contact, and they have talked about potential appearances.

Sapp previously reported that people in AEW were pushing for Benjamin even before he was released in September 2023. There had been rumors that his contract was coming up.

Benjamin is a former WWE United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and Tag Team Champion, among other accolades.

Shelton Benjamin is set to face Josh Alexader at Prestige Wrestling’s “Alive or Just Breathing” event on May 16. He has said that he has other matches lined up as well.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
