WWE legend Ric Flair says his wife has coronavirus

WWE legend Ric Flair has informed the New York Post that Wendy Barlow, his wife, has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The 71-year-old former world champion is retired from in-ring action, but he's been an active participant at the WWE Performance Center for television tapings this summer:

Flair also told the Post that any rumors claiming he has the virus are untrue.

“My wife does [have the virus]… we live in a 5,000 square foot home," Flair reportedly said. "I live in the basement. She lives upstairs on the third floor and she got sick.”

"The Nature Boy" is considered high risk for the coronavirus because of his age and his medical history. Flair nearly lost his life in the summer of 2017:

While WWE has continued the promotion's weekly television shows amid the pandemic, the company reportedly has had to alter taping schedules on multiple occasions due to positive test results among personnel.
