Deontay Wilder could box Jared Anderson in August on the Terence Crawford vs Israil Madrimov card.

The Bronze Bomber will fight Zhilei Zhang next on the Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol card on June 1. He is coming off a loss to Joseph Parker, as he was outclassed in a one-sided unanimous decision loss. Wilder’s boxing skills went missing, as his right hand and jab were found wanting. Several reasons were put forward for his loss. Wilder felt the jetlag from travelling to Saudi may have made him sluggish. Malik Scott, Wilder’s trainer, stated his fighter’s use of Ayahuasca could have removed his killer instinct. Wilder shut down talks of retiring, as he wants to beat Zhang to secure the big bouts.

“They [media and authorities] said how I wasn’t so good for boxing because I wanted a body on my record. But now you get these people, the Saudis, involved and they said, ‘We want that monster back, we want that killer back, we want the man who speaks like that’. And when you have people like that who appreciate you for what that is, it makes you want to change back quickly. I’ve got the green light that I can be that and not be judged. I can be that and not be crucified “When I did it earlier everybody crucified me, stuck me with thorns and stabbed me,” Wilder said

Wilder vs Anderson

If he comes through the Chinese heavyweight, Anderson could be next. The following picture shows Anderson with Turki Alalshikh, who has hinted that a fight with Wilder could be made.

“The talented Jared Anderson is with us now on August 3rd Riyadh Season card at LA against the “Bronze Bomber” Deontay Wilder – if he’s ready by then to fight after 1st of June fight against Zhilei Zhang,” Turki Alalshikh revealed

Anderson secured a win over Ryad Merhy last month in a below-par performance. He failed to stop his opponent, who was intent on surviving. Jared’s biggest win is against the former IBF Heavyweight Champion Charles Martin. However, Anderson’s personal life has not helped his boxing career. He was charged with a third-degree felony last month for evading the authorities during a car chase.

Anderson’s Future

He reportedly crashed his Dodge Challenger in Huron County, Michigan. The boxer was alleged to have driven over 130 mph. While he was released following a $10,000 bond, it was the second time in a year he had been arrested. The first occurred last year in November when he was apprehended for driving while intoxicated and for possessing a gun in his car. If Anderson wants the big bouts, he must stay focused in the ring. Based on his last performance, he wants to do better.

“I wanted to give the fans a better show, but what can you do? I stayed sharp for 10 rounds, that’s the biggest takeaway. [And] I gotta make some changes. I got hit with a few punches. He didn’t even come to fight, so I shouldn’t have got hit at all. We’re coming to knock everybody off. All of them [I want next]. If I’m ranked with you, if your name is near mine, we can get it cracking, man. ‘The Real Big Baby,’ we coming to knock everybody off. We coming for them titles and we come to…win,” Anderson stated
