On Sunday morning, Oklahoma picked up a commitment from 2025 offensive lineman Ryan Fodje.

Hailing from Bridgeland (TX), Fodje is listed at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds. A 3-star recruit, the Houston-area product chose the Sooners over USC, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.

As a junior in 2023, Fodje was named a First-Team All-District Selection after starting at right tackle and helping the Bears to a playoff appearance.

Fodje is teammates with fellow 2025 offensive tackle Jonte Newman, who included the Sooners in his top eight schools in January.

Fodje attended the Brent Venables Elite Camp over the summer, performing very well in front of Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh

The next month, Bedenbaugh and the Sooners became the first collegiate program to extend an offer to the promising tackle from the Lone Star State. Since then, Fodje has picked up 17 more offers from schools around the country.

Fodje is the second offensive lineman in OU’s 2025 recruiting class, joining Melissa (TX) guard Owen Hollenbeck. In total, Fodje is the 10th player to commit to Brent Venables and company in the upcoming cycle, alongside Kevin Sperry, Gracen Harris, Ka'Mori Moore, Alexander Shieldnight, Marcus James, Trynae Washington, Jaden Nickens and Elijah Thomas
