Julia Roberts silently crashes George Clooney's 'Kimmel' interview

It's rare that Julia Roberts is third on the billing, but that was the case on Thursday's (Dec. 16) Jimmy Kimmel Live .

Kimmel first welcomed 10-year-old actor Daniel Ranieri, who plays a young J.R. Moehringer in The Tender Bar . George Clooney joined Ranieri's interview, and then a silent Julia Roberts very briefly crashed the segment:

Glamorous as ever, Roberts wore sunglasses and a white turtleneck and did not say a word before sliding back out of the frame. Clooney and Roberts are reportedly together in Australia filming the 2022 romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise.

Ranieri got the part in The Tender Bar when Clooney, who directed the film, saw him on Kimmel last December:

Also starring Ben Affleck, The Tender Bar is the true coming-of-age story adapted from Moehringer's memoir by the same name. The movie released in select theaters today (Dec. 17) and will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 7. Watch the trailer below.
