Alabama football jumped in on the recruitment of London Simmons in its very early stages by offering the Mississippi product on Wednesday.

Simmons attends Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi and is a member of the 2025 recruiting class. He holds only six offers after earning an offer from the Tide and is currently not ranked on any major recruiting site. The slower pace of his recruitment compared to other prospects makes Simmons’ offer from the Crimson Tide that much special.

“It means a lot, coming from my recruitment being a little slow,” Simmons told Touchdown Alabama. “I see this program not only as a player developer but developing me as a young man.”

A visit to Tuscaloosa is something Simmons is interested in, and it is something very likely to happen in the future.

The 6-foot-3 prospect may not have the star rating other highly sought-after prospects have next to their name, but his film speaks for itself. He explodes out of his stance upon the snap of the football and causes disruption in the backfield. He also moves efficiently in space for a player his size.

The new Alabama target wrapped up his senior campaign with 80 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 15 sacks.

“I’m fast off the ball, and I’m very disciplined,” Simmons said when asked about the strengths of his game.
