Despite a decorated college career, Drew Timme hasn't found his footing in the NBA.
After going undrafted, the former Gonzaga All-American was released by the Milwaukee Bucks just days before the 2023-24 NBA season tipped off. Timme appeared in four Summer League games and two preseason exhibitions with the team, and while he'll have a chance to showcase his skillset with the Wisconsin Herd in the G-League, his old-school style of play is a questionable fit in today's NBA.
That's not to say the 23-year-old can't develop and adapt, but perhaps a back-to-the-basket big man like himself would have more opportunities to succeed in a professional league overseas in Europe.
