Another PGA Tour golfer joins Tiger Woods' tech-infused golf league
While golf fans eagerly await the next appearance Tiger Woods will make on the PGA Tour circuit, his tech-infused league TGL continues to add big names to its roster ahead of its projected launch in January 2024.
This week, PGA staple and sharp-dressed man Rickie Fowler added his name to the growing list of participants in the Monday night golf league Woods and Rory McIlroy are putting together.
Fowler's commitment to TGL comes as his own game is on an upswing. After a couple of rough seasons, the 34-year-old PGA veteran has three top-10 finishes on his 2022-23 campaign and finished last week's Players Championship T13 with a couple impressive shots.
With the addition of Fowler, TGL has now signed 12 of the 18 players who will make up six three-man teams. Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Adam Scott, Xander Schauffele, Justin Rose, and Billy Horschel have also committed to joining Woods and McIlroy for the virtual match play event.
Thomas, Rose, and Fitzpatrick are all gearing up to compete in the Valspar Championship this weekend. As for Woods, fans will have to wait until next month to catch him at The Masters.
