Tiger Woods on LIV Golf participants: 'They've turned their backs on what got them into this position'

The 150th Open Championship begins on Thursday at St. Andrews. One of the storylines that continues to dominate headlines is the inclusion of LIV Golf members in the competition.

Tiger Woods — who skipped the U.S. Open in order to get healthy — will return to play this week. The 46-year-old spoke out on the LIV Golf Series on Tuesday.

It was reported in early June that Woods turned down a "mind-blowingly enormous" offer to join the Saudi Arabia-funded league. Among the notable names that defected from the PGA Tour to the LIV Golf Series have been Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler.
