And the hits just keep on coming

After having some success yesterday with pitcher props, let's turn the tables and focus in on some batters in a good spot to have a day in MLB.

Looking at batter vs. pitcher history and recent trends to power a hit parlay today

Tracking how batters have fared against the day's pitcher can be a nice foundational step in any prop bet research, and when you can couple it with a player on a hitting streak, then that right there is what we call a great play.

Jeff McNeil to record a hit — Jeff McNeil of the New York Mets is rolling right now, with 12 hits in his past six games. That's an average of 2 a game, and he has at least one in each game during this stretch. He'll be starting the day against Kyle Wright of the Braves, a righty whom McNeil has a strong history against. In 12 plate appearances, McNeil is hitting .583 off Wright, seven hits in all. McNeil will get our hit parlay going.

Brandon Drury to record a hit — Drury had himself quite the debut in a Padres uniform yesterday, knocking a grand slam on the very first pitch he saw. Drury now has a hit in six straight games and in nine of his past 11. He and the Padres will face off against Kyle Freeland this afternoon. Drury has seen the Rockies pitcher 11 times in his career, recording 5 hits for a .500 average. With a strong history and nice recent success, Drury will be our second leg in this hit parlay.

Cesar Hernandez to record a hit — Noah Syndergaard is making his debut with the Phillies, a welcome sight for Cesar Hernandez. In 34 plate appearances, Hernandez is batting .400 against Syndergaard. That's quite the sample size and one that brings about some confidence today. Hernandez has a hit in six of his last nine games and three straight on the road.

Those are the three legs for us, and together it gives us a +220 hits parlay on DraftKings.

The Hall of Fame Game, as this first game is affectionately known, will be between the Las Vegas Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars.
