Opening Day is just a couple of weeks away, and we now know who all will be in the booth for Braves broadcasts this season.

Of course, it was announced soon after the end of last season that Jeff Francoeur is taking a step back to spend more time with his family. He’ll still be around from time-to-time, but C.J. Nitkowski will be the permanent member of the Braves booth alongside play-by-play announcer Brandon Gaudin. Tom Glavine will also join them for certain games, as well as Peter Moylan, and it looks like Collin McHugh will celebrate his retirement by joining the broadcast team for the 2024 season.

McHugh had some stellar moments for the Braves over the last couple of seasons and is from Georgia, making this a pretty seamless transition into the next phase of his life.

Also of note, Braves on-field reporter Kelly Crull will not be returning after spending a few years with the team. She’ll be replaced by three people — Ashley ShahAhmadi, Hanna Yates, and Wiley Ballard — moving forward.

Ashley ShahAhmadi currently does a great job on the court for the Charlotte Hornets. Yates has filled a similar role for the Carolina Hurricanes, and this will be a big promotion for Ballard, who is beginning his first year as a reporter.

It’s another All-Star staff for the Atlanta Braves broadcast team, a fitting group to be associated with the best team in baseball.
