The 29-year-old has become a valuable part of the Astros position player group, with the ability to play the outfield or infield. He appeared in 132 games for the 'Stros last season, hitting .278 with 10 homers and 46 RBI. He also stole seven bases.

He's in his sixth year in the big leagues with the Brewers, Giants and Astros.

Lifetime, Dubon is a .258 hitter. He had a career-high 26 doubles last season, playing in the most games he ever has in a year.

The Astros lost in the ALCS last season to the Texas Rangers, and they figure to contend for an American League pennant in 2024 as well. They feature a veteran pitching staff, led by Justin Verlander, Framber Valdez and Cristian Javier. They also added to their bullpen by signing Josh Hader to a multi-year deal.

On the position player side, they still have the usual suspects like Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Yordan Alvarez and Kyle Tucker.

Houston will have a new manager in 2024, as Dusty Baker has retired. The reigns have been given to Joe Espada.

Spring training begins in less than two weeks with the first games slated for just less than three weeks from now.
