Seattle Mariners second baseman Jose Caballero joined an exclusive club in team history on Sunday afternoon.

By stealing three bases and hitting a home run, Caballero became just the second player in team history to accomplish that feat, joining popular outfielder Mike Cameron, who did back in 2002.

Caballero's home run was his first career home run as well. It came in the eighth inning off of Nick Anderson and was socked out to left field. You can watch it below.

Caballero appears to have overtaken Kolten Wong for the second base job in Seattle. Wong, who was acquired this offseason from Milwaukee, has been out to a terrible start. He's hitting just .177 with no home runs, eight RBI and has struggled defensively.

As for Caballero, he's hitting .278 in 54 at-bats with the homer, seven RBI and six stolen bases. This is first taste of the big leagues at the age of 26.

He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2017 draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks out of Chipola JC in Florida.

He made his debut with the Mariners on April 15.

At the time of this posting, the Mariners trail the Braves, 3-2, in the top of the ninth inning. If the Mariners lose this game, they'll fall to 22-24 on the season and will post a 4-5 record on a difficult nine-game road trip through Detroit, Boston and Atlanta.

The Mariners will return home on Monday to start a four-game series against the Oakland Athletics.
