Shohei Ohtani has taken MLB by storm this year, and the only thing that’s been able to slow this rookie down has been an injury.

The Los Angeles Angels star likely hasn’t impressed himself, however, based on the goals he set for himself in high school.

As shared by MLB on Twitter, here they are:

Age 24: Throw no-hitter and win 25 games.

Age 26: Win World series and get married

Age 28: First son is born

Age 36: Break the strikeout record

Age 37: First son starts baseball

Age 38: Start to think about retirement

Age 40: Throw no-hitter in very last game

We’d love to see Ohtani meet these lofty goals. He’s still just 24 years old right now, so they’re really all on the table, barring a potential need to undergo Tommy John Surgery to repair his current injury.

Ohtani is back to his tricks already since returning from the DL. He hit a pinch-hit home run on Sunday to help the Angels beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, and at this point we’ve already grown to expect the unexpected when it concerns this young man.
