76ers agree to deals with P.J. Tucker, Danuel House

Despite acquiring All-Star guard James Harden ahead of the trade deadline, the Philadelphia 76ers' 2021-22 campaign ended with another second-round playoff exit.

With a lineup needing reinforcements, the 76ers have turned to free agency to plug some holes.

According to multiple sources, Philadelphia has agreed to terms with free-agent forwards P.J. Tucker and Danuel House Jr.

Tucker, 37, was widely rumored to be head to Philly once free agency opened.

The 11-year veteran reportedly signed a three-year, $33.2 million contract with the 76ers.

Tucker helped the Miami Heat knock the 76ers out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference semifinals last season. He averaged 7.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists starting in 70 of 71 games for the Heat.

In nearly 800 career NBA games, Tucker has averaged 7.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

House, 29, played 42 combined games for the Houston Rockets, New York Knicks and Jazz last season.

He finished the season with the Jazz, playing in 25 games averaging 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists, playing 19.6 minutes a game.

A six-year veteran, House has averaged 8.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 204 career NBA games.
