The Los Angeles Clippers were scheduled to face the Dallas Mavericks with a 10 p.m. tip-off in Los Angeles. The Clippers’ Russell Westbrook has been a favorite target of former player Charles Barkley’s pre-game clothing rants, and Westbrook found himself in the crosshairs of the ‘Round Mound of Rebound’ recently over his pre-game fit.

Barkley roasted Westbrook prior to the game, which came amid a hilarious troll job by the Clippers against the Mavs organization. The offseason was also a focus in regards to an Eastern Conference up-and-comer being listed as a potential Paul George offseason suitor.

Barkley’s comments took aim at the way Westbrook was dressed, as the former NBA star pulled no punches.

Barkley Goes Off On Westbrook’s Fit

Barkley seemed to think that Westbrook was headed to the bedroom instead of the court on Wednesday night as he took aim at the latest Westbrook fit.

“That’s how you go to bed right there, damn,” Barkley said.

The Clippers entered the night tied with the Mavs by a series tally of two games apiece.

The Clippers’ Big 3 of Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George haven’t gone quietly after dropping early matchups to Doncic, who worked his usual “Luka Magic’ in the early going.

Clippers’ Billboard, Revealed

The aforementioned anti-Mavs troll job of billboard was shown prior to Game Five, indicating that the Clippers’ franchise is expecting the Mavs to be knocked out of the playoffs and on their way to a tropical vacation within days.

“This is what the league needs more of,” one fan said in response.

“They gon regret this,” another fan added.

“Luka about to drop 70 on their head,” another fan said.

The ‘Inside the NBA’ crew had a ball with ‘The Chuckster’ on Wednesday as they revealed a famous Barkley arena entrance outfit.

Barkley was fond of wearing tank tops during his playing days and even in TV commercials, in stark contrast to his fresh and famously well-tailored suits in today’s day and age.

Barkley did not win a title with the Phoenix Suns or Philadelphia 76ers or anyone else during his time in the NBA. Westbrook has still never won an NBA title despite being named to the NBA’s 75 All-Time Greatest Players anniversary team in 2021, one of eleven active players named at the time.
