Hawks bringing Kyle Korver back to Atlanta

Many Hawks fans will remember the Budenhozler teams of Jeff Teague, Al Horford, Josh Smith, Paul Millsap, and Kyle Korver being a bright spot in the club’s history, especially that 2014-15 season as the Hawks finished 60-22. Now, Korver will return to Atlanta.

Korver is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. During his four years with Atlanta from 2012 to 2016, Korver averaged over 11 points while canning an eye-popping 45.6% of his threes.

When he retired, Korver ranked fourth in career three-pointers made, and only Stephen Curry made them more efficiently. He most recently spent time in Brooklyn working in the player development facet of the organization, but he returns home to help the Hawks, who have made changes to the roster and coaching staff this offseason, get back to the promise land.
