James Harden's 76ers debut delayed until after All-Star break

New Philadelphia Sixer James Harden won't play for the team until after the NBA All-Star break as he continues to rehab a hamstring injury he sustained as a member of the Brooklyn Nets ahead of the trade deadline. He will also not participate in the All-Star Game on Feb. 20.

It does, however, look like Harden's rehab is going well. He was seen at Sixers practice after passing his physical.

Harden, 32, missed three games for Brooklyn due to hamstring tightness prior to being part of a major multi-player trade to Philadelphia for Ben Simmons and has yet to play for the Sixers as he continues to rehab.

The extra time to heal could also benefit the Sixers, which will need Harden to be at his best alongside Joel Embiid as Philadelphia hopes to go deep in the playoffs this year.

Philadelphia currently sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference behind the defending-champion Milwaukee Bucks, which the Sixers visit on Thursday ahead of the All-Star Game.
