The Los Angeles Clippers held a groundbreaking ceremony for their new Intuit Dome arena this past week and team star Kawhi Leonard was in attendance.

Leonard’s presence at the event produced at least one memorable moment that folks latched onto immediately. Even LeBron James had a laugh over it.

But the good times didn’t stop there.

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed something interesting on the hoodie Leonard opted to wear to the proceedings.

While at the event Leonard could be seen showcasing a sweatshirt displaying his insane dunk over Maxi Kleber during the Clippers’ first-round playoff win over the Dallas Mavericks.

For the uninitiated, this was the play depicted on the hoodie:

Needless to say, folks had some reactions to Leonard’s flex:

All that aside, the Clippers are a team to watch over the next couple of months. Currently, they’re one of three squads rumored to be in the running for John Wall. He would definitely make things more interesting in 2021-22.

Beyond that – Leonard’s status for next season is very much in the air. He’s coming off surgery and Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has been extremely cryptic about his recovery time.

One way or another, the Clippers are continuing to find ways to stay relevant. Will they actually be able to be a title contender next year, though? Time will tell.
