On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns (on their home floor) by a score of 127-109.
The Suns had control for most of the night, and Bradley Beal led the way with 37 points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 14/21 from the field and 8/10 from the three-point range.
LeBron James had one of his worst games of the season, finishing the night with ten points, five rebounds, nine assists and one steal while shooting 3/11 from the field and 0/4 from the three-point range in 24 minutes of playing time.
Following the game, James met with the media (the whole clip can be watched via Spectrum SportsNet).
Reporter: "First time with their big three healthy, what kind of challenges do they present from the jump?"
James: "Oh, I mean, it's obvious when you have three, three-level scorers on the floor at the same time. It creates so many disadvantages for your defense and always has you on your toes. They're gonna be a really good team once they continue to mesh. But those three guys are obviously exceptional."
Reporter: "For you, 24 minutes played, obviously didn't play there in the fourth, but if you'd have to go all the way back to 2018 when you last scored just ten points. How are you feeling physically right now?"
James: "Uh, I feel okay."
The Lakers dropped to 19-20 in their first 39 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.
They will play their next game on Saturday when they visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.
