Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner has found a unique way to unwind off the basketball court, immersing himself in a childhood passion – Legos. Turner revealed that during the current NBA season, he has dedicated an estimated three to four hours each day to constructing intricate Lego structures, totaling more than 120,000 Lego pieces.

"I build Legos. I don't play with Legos. It's literally all I do with my downtime. I get back to the crib, and it's a way for me to take my mind off of things. I put some music on, might put a show on, but at least 3-4 hours out of my day, bro."

"I've already built 12 different projects. I've counted up everything, I've already gone through 120,000 pieces since the season started."

While his Lego-building hobby isn't new, the revelation of the staggering number of Lego pieces he has used this season caught the attention of fans and media alike. Turner emphasized that he doesn't merely "play" with Legos; he actively engages in the creative process of building with them.

For Turner, Lego building serves as a serious and focused pastime, offering him a way to unwind and divert his mind from the demands of professional basketball. He shared that upon returning home, he dedicates a significant portion of his downtime to constructing Lego projects, accompanied by music or a show for added relaxation.

The Pacers' center expressed the importance of his Lego-building routine in maintaining mental well-being. The tactile and immersive nature of the activity allows Turner to shift his focus, providing a therapeutic outlet away from the intensity of the NBA season.

Despite the intricacies of his Lego creations, Turner humorously clarified that he doesn't "play" with Legos, highlighting the intentionality and craftsmanship behind his hobby. While excelling on the court, where he has played in 20 games this season, averaging 17.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists, Turner's dedication to Lego building showcases a different side of his personality, demonstrating that even professional athletes find solace in unconventional and nostalgic pastimes.

Myles Turner Takes A Sly Dig At Domantas Sabonis

Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers didn't shy away from expressing his opinion on the trade involving Tyrese Haliburton. The Pacers acquired Haliburton in a swap with the Sacramento Kings, and according to Turner, it was a clear win for Indiana. He stated that he believes the trade was mutually beneficial, addressing how it fulfilled the needs of both teams, with De'Aaron Fox gaining what he required, and Turner getting the point guard he needed.

Turner subtly criticized the previous era with Domantas Sabonis, describing those days as challenging and expressing discontent with his role, particularly when playing power forward alongside Sabonis. Turner made it clear that those were difficult times for him, emphasizing his unhappiness and discomfort during that stretch.

Since Haliburton's arrival, Turner highlighted the positive changes on the court, indicating a more favorable dynamic. The trade is widely considered a pivotal moment for the Pacers, with Turner's comments shedding light on the impact of the swap on team chemistry and player satisfaction.
