NBA reports zero positive coronavirus tests in Orlando bubble

Less than two weeks before the NBA restarts the 2019-20 season halted on March 11 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Association can claim there is no virus outbreak among personnel located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex bubble site.

On Monday, the league officially announced that 346 players tested returned zero positive coronavirus results since the last test results were unveiled on July 13. Any player who tests positive or is caught breaking the league's bubble guidelines must quarantine and eventually test negative for the virus on multiple occasions before he's allowed to return to team activities.

Monday's news shows that the Association's protocols are working to keep players safe. It also indicates players are following guidelines regarding social-distancing and limiting exposure to anybody who may be carrying the virus.

Earlier in the day, Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams appeared to hit out at players who had publicly complained about spending weeks inside the Florida bubble. "This is not Syria. It's not that hard," Adams told reporters.
