Io Anthony Edwards , in a recent  interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews , shared his thoughts on what makes reigning MVP Nikola Jokic a special player. Despite Jokic’s Denver Nuggets trailing 2-0, at the time to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals, Edwards praised Jokic’s ability to remain unbothered and consistent.

Ant Man highlighted Jokic’s ability to not show any frustration or emotion, making it difficult for opponents to figure him out. He also acknowledged that Jokic always comes to play, and his team risks losing if Anthony Edwards doesn’t match that level of intensity.

I think the main thing about Jokic is just nothing bothers him or at least he don't show it," Edwards said. "I think it's hard to like figure him out and I know he comes to play every night so if I don't come to play we got a chance to lose that game. Anthony Edwards said

Jokic’s calm and composed demeanor has become a hallmark of his game, and Edwards’ comments echo what many fans and analysts have observed. Despite facing challenges on the court, Nikola Jokic has established himself as one of the best players of his generation, with three MVP awards to his name.

Edwards’ comments serve as a testament to Jokic’s exceptional skill and mental toughness. As the Denver Nuggets look to mount a comeback in the series, Jokic’s ability to remain focused and composed will be crucial to their success.

Anthony Edwards takes assumes responsibility for Timberwolves loss to the Nuggets

Anthony Edwards took responsibility for his team’s performance in Game 3 of their semi-final tie against the Denver Nuggets, recognizing he didn’t bring enough energy to make a significant impact.

It's on me. I'll take the blame for this loss. I came out with no energy at all. I can't afford to do that for my team. I let my team down, the fans down. Anthony Edwards said

Edwards led the Timberwolves in scoring with 19 points, but the rest of the T-Wolves struggled, with Karl-Anthony Towns and others contributing fewer points than usual. Edwards however, showed his superstar qualities by taking immediate accountability and expressing his enthusiasm for the competitive nature of basketball.

Despite the loss, Edwards remained positive, where he emphasized that the series is far from over. He also encouraged his team to stay focused, noting that it’s the first to four games, not the first to one. With a “we’ll be alright” attitude, Edwards is ready to bounce back and lead his team to victory in the next game.
