The 'NBA active leaders in made field goals' quiz
After scoring 31-points in Indiana’s Game 6 win against the New York Knicks to win the Eastern Conference Finals and ECF MVP honors, Pascal Siakam will play for a second NBA championship. In an NBA Finals featuring just four players with a previous appearance, Siakam and OKC’s Alex Caruso are the only two players with any significant Finals playing time. Siakam was a key cog in the Raptors’ 2019 championship run, playing 40.2 minutes-per-game while averaging 19.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in support of Kawhi Leonard. Meanwhile Caruso was more of a defensive specialist and bench piece for the 2020 Lakers squad that won in the NBA bubble.
“I’m just a young kid from Cameroon who moved to the U.S. when I was 18 years old and gave everything to the game of basketball,” Siakam said after the 125-108 win. “I just work every single day. I care about the game of basketball and want to be as great as I can.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the active NBA players to make at least 4,000 field goals in their career can you name in five minutes?
