49ers, Kemoko Turay agree to one-year contract

The San Francisco 49ers made another addition to their defense.

A second-round pick from the 2018 NFL Draft, Turay has spent his entire four-year career with the Colts. The 26-year-old made just nine tackles last season, but his 5.5 sacks and five tackles for loss were both career highs.

Turay also recorded eight quarterback hits in 2021 and picked up his first fumble recovery. In 38 career games (three starts), Turay has registered 33 tackles, 29 quarterback hits and 12.0 sacks.
