Aaron Donald signs deal with Kanye West's Donda Sports

There were already retirement rumors floating around as Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald skipped OTAs while he holds out  for a bigger contract. Now those rumors are going into orbit after the Super Bowl winner told the "I Am Athlete" podcast over the weekend that he has signed a deal with Donda Sports, the latest business endeavor from rapper Kanye West.

The company says it focuses on "providing holistic support to athletes during and beyond their sports career." Donald is expected to partner with Donda Sports in some sort of marketing role.

"It was an opportunity," Donald said. "You know [my wife, Erica] does a lot of my marketing. So it was an opportunity that came to us -- me and her -- you know it made sense.

"The family atmosphere that they got at Donda Sports, and my wife being a part of that, for me it was a no-brainer."

The exact details of Donald's involvement -- and whether it could impede his future in the NFL -- have not yet been disclosed.
