Aaron Rodgers, Danica Patrick break up

Those hoping to see pictures of a cheesehead-and-IndyCar-themed wedding had those dreams dashed on Thursday.

According to ESPN, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former professional driver Danica Patrick have broken up. One of Patrick's representatives confirmed to E! News the two are "no longer together."

Rodgers, a one-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player, and Patrick first met at the 2012 edition of the ESPYs. The couple started dating in 2017.

Patrick competed in both the IndyCar Series and stock car competitions during her historic career. She retired as a full-time driver in 2018 at the age of 36.

As noted by Fox News, Patrick publicly commented about getting engaged to the Green Bay signal-caller during a November appearance on "The Jenny McCarthy Show." Patrick also declared at that time that "life's good."

Per People's Karen Mizoguchi, Rodgers and actress Olivia Munn remained "close friends" and wished "nothing but the best for each other moving forward" after they ended a three-year relationship in 2017.

We hope the QB and Patrick can also stay friends in these trying times.
