Are Texans close to trading Deshaun Watson?

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk insists the Miami Dolphins want Watson even though ESPN's Jeff Darlington previously refuted Florio's claim that Dolphins owner Steve Ross covets the 26-year-old who still faces 22 lawsuits alleging acts of sexual assault and misconduct and 10 criminal complaints. If, however, Houston is no longer asking for a reported package worth more than three first-round and three second-round draft picks for Watson, making a move for the star signal-caller could be a risk worth taking for any team in need of a proven and talented starter. 

Watson has not yet been made ineligible to play via the commissioner's exempt list or a suspension, but his future for this fall and beyond this year remains in question. The trade deadline isn't until Nov. 2, but the fact that Watson can block a transaction via a clause in his contract and is committed to never again playing for the Texans could all force Houston's hand well before Halloween approaches.
