Biggest Winners of the 2024 NFL Draft (NFC)

Chicago has made it clear that it wants to wrap up the rebuild process, and strides have certainly been made. The Bears have hit their marks with both the first and ninth overall picks in the draft, grabbing USC quarterback Caleb Williams and Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze. It goes without saying that Chicago made this draft their own, despite only having five total picks in the entire draft. With their new batch of rookies in tow, along with some big free-agent signings, the Windy City will look to start the new chapter of Bears football on the right foot.

Hopefully, the new offensive staff can turn things up after a poultry showing in 2023.

2. Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones has gone through the wringer since he was drafted by the New York Giants, from leading the league in fumbles twice to an overall record of 22-36-1. Not to mention he tore his ACL six games into the 2023 campaign. Fortunately, help has arrived in time for 2024. The G-Men selected wide receiver Malik Nabers with the sixth overall pick, adding a much-needed boost to the offense. Potentially, Daniel Jones has the weapons necessary to get the passing game off the ground, along with the chance to prove his standing as a starting NFL quarterback.

Patience is a virtue, as they say. But Jones does not have much time.

3. Philadelphia Eagles

At one point in 2023, the Eagles boasted a defense that offensive coordinates far and wide had come to fear. But after getting exposed by the San Francisco 49ers and losing the NFC East crown to Dallas, the City of Brotherly Love is looking to regain their respect. Philadelphia picked up Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean with their first two picks in the most recent draft, loading their secondary even further. The Eagles have also done fairly well in addressing their other roster spots in the later rounds. But only time will tell how these picks stack up alongside their peers.

The journey to retake the division has officially begun in Philly.

4. Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals boasted the highest number of draft picks of any team this past April, with 12 total. Needless to say, they wasted no time in accumulating weapons for both sides of the ball. The Cards got the ball rolling by grabbing Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. , who can help open up the field for Kyler Murray. Florida State’s Trey Benson and Illinois’ Tip Reiman were solid picks as well, bolstering a struggling offense. That being said, there is still a lot of work to be done in Glendale, and the road to playoff contention will not be easy, especially in the division that they play in.
