Bills Mafia may have another famous member

The Buffalo Bills have a huge fan base that includes golfer Rory McIlroy and actor William Fichtner. Is actress Jennifer Garner a member of Bills Mafia, too?

While at a Wegmans, a New York-based supermarket chain, in Canandaigua, N.Y., recently, she spotted a Bills fan wearing a Bills shirt and said, "Go Bills."

The fan, Brian Wiser, recognized her and asked Garner to pose for a photograph. She obliged. His wife, Mary, posted the picture on social media and it quickly went viral.

Per Erik Brady of The Buffalo News, the post garnered (no pun intended), hundreds of comments. Some suggested Garner likes the Bills because her ex-husband, actor Ben Affleck, is a New England Patriots fan. The Bills and Patriots have been rivals since they entered the American Football League in 1960.

Garner, who was in the area for a promotional appearance, is best known for her roles in such films as "Elektra" and "13 Going on 30." She gained much of her fame from her breakthrough role on the ABC television series, "Alias." The 51-year-old actress was born in Houston but raised in Charleston, W.Va.

The Bills play the Patriots in Week 7 (Oct. 22) at New England and in Week 17 at home on New Year's Eve. Keep an eye out for Garner and Affleck.
