Bills WR Stefon Diggs 'feeling motivated' after playoff loss to Chiefs
After the Buffalo Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, Stefon Diggs remained on the field while all of his teammates headed to the locker room. The Bills wide receiver watched as his opponents celebrated, motivating him to be better next season.
Diggs said as much in a recent Instagram post, saying he's "feeling inspired feeling motivated" after Buffalo's disappointing playoff loss. The photo is of Diggs watching Kansas City's postgame celebration, with confetti and all.
Diggs' arrival in Buffalo helped the Bills win an AFC East title for the first time since 1995 and win two postseason games for the first time since that season as well.
In 16 games this season, the 27-year-old reeled in 127 catches for a career-high 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns. In three playoff games, he caught 31 passes for 311 yards and two touchdowns, which was his highest output in a postseason in his career.
Diggs is under contract with the Bills through the 2023 season. However, he has a potential out after the 2021 campaign.
